2022 Year-End Giving Tips and Deadline Reminders
As we wrap up 2022, here are some important year-end giving tips and deadline reminders:
- Give by Checks – Checks mailed to First Pres must be postmarked by Saturday, December 31.
- Give Online/Website – Donations may be made securely through www.firstpresge.org and initiated by Saturday, December 31, 11:55pm.
- Give by TEXT – Enter 6305280122 and the amount you wish to donate using the $ sign (example $25) and follow prompts. Must be initiated by Saturday, December 31, 11:55pm.
- Gifts of Stocks/Funds – All stock transfers must be initiated by Saturday, December 31, 11:55pm to be counted for 2022 tax purposes.
- Gifts of Donor Advised Funds – Checks mailed to First Pres must be postmarked by Saturday, December 31.
- IRA Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) – Contact your IRA Plan Administrator for details and to request a QCD made directly to First Presbyterian Church of Glen Ellyn (Tax ID: 36-2482585). Distributions to First Pres must be postmarked by Saturday, December 31.
