We read in the written accounts of the birth of Jesus that he was laid in a manger because there was no room for him in the inn. To this day, making room for Jesus remains an ongoing challenge for any who would seek to be his disciple.
This Advent season, as we prepare to celebrate the birth of Jesus at Christmas, we will look at some examples from the New Testament of welcoming Jesus into our lives.
Jesus has come into the world so that we may have life and have it in abundance. But that experience of abundant life with Jesus will not happen until we learn how to welcome him in and make room for his Kingly reign in us. In this series we will discover what it takes to welcome Jesus into our daily lives.
