All students currently in grades 6 – 12 are invited to join us for a summer mission trip to Milwaukee, WI with Youth Works Missions from Sunday, July 14 at 11am to Friday, July 19 around 4pm. During our week together, we’ll serve in a variety of ways. We might run VBS for kids, play games with the elderly in a nursing home, work in a community garden, or serve food in a homeless shelter. Each night, we’ll also do something fun, worship together, and process the day’s experience and figure out what they mean for us after we get home. You’ll grow closer with other First Pres students as well as young people from across the country. You’ll also grow deeper in your relationship with Jesus and your faith.
Parents and students will need to attend a meeting on Wednesday, June 26 from 7-8:30pm.
Friends are welcome to join us as well as long as they are also able to attend the trip meetings.
