Fall at First Pres begins with two special events in worship on September 25.
Blessing of the Backpacks – Students of all ages are invited to come forward during worship services and have their backpack blessed, and to experience the support of the congregation as they begin a new academic year.
Child Sponsorship Sunday – Already sponsoring a child? Bring pictures of your Sponsor Children for whom we will offer prayers in worship. Or, sign up to change a child’s story from one of poverty to one of possibility and hope. First Pres mission partners will be on hand to assist you.
