By April 11, 2024April 25th, 2024No Comments

The Bible presents God and humans as experiencing a range of emotions, love, anger, happiness, sadness, disgust, and regret. In this class we will look at what the study of emotions in the cultural world of the Bible helps us to understand about the biblical portrayal of God and humanity, as well as ourselves, as emotional beings.

Speaker Bio: Aubrey Buster is Associate Professor of Old Testament at Wheaton College, wife to Jeff, and mother to Malcolm, Martin, and new baby to come in August! Her research focuses on the Psalms, Chronicles, Ezra-Nehemiah, Daniel, and the Dead Sea Scrolls.
