Bible Milestone

At baptism, we promise to help children grow in their faith. One of the ways we do this is through a series of milestones. In 3rd grade as part of the Bible Milestone, we give children a Bible to use to grow their faith.
The workshop will include 2 meetings, Wednesday, November 5th and Wednesday, November 19th at 3:45-5:30pm. One parent will need to attend both Wednesday sessions for the final 30 minutes, 5:00-5:30pm. Childcare for siblings will be available for that portion of the workshop.
On Sunday, November 16th at the 10:30am service our 3rd grade workshop participants will be presented with their new Bible.
Children in grades 4th & 5th who have not received a Bible from First Pres are also welcome to participate.

Before presenting the Bibles during worship, we spend two weeks teaching children what the Bible is and how to use it.
A grown-up needs to attend class with their child on November 5 and 19 from 4–5:30 pm. Childcare will be provided from 4–5:30 pm each week for younger siblings. Children in grades 4–5 who have not yet received a Bible from First Pres are also welcome to participate.
