There’s a place at First Pres for you to connect, celebrate, and prepare your heart for Christ’s coming this Advent Season.

Thanksgiving Eve & Pie

Wednesday, Nov. 26 | 7-8pm | Chapel

You’re warmly invited to this year’s Thanksgiving Eve Service in the chapel—a special evening of gratitude, reflection, and community. Bring your family and friends to share in the celebration, and stay afterward for delicious pies and heartfelt conversation in the church!

Live Nativity

Friday, Nov, 28 | 6-7pm | Front Lawn

Just steps from the downtown tree lighting … Capture the wonder of the season at the First Pres Live Nativity. Live animals including a llama, sheep, and ducks, complete the scene, and hot cocoa and cookies will be served. The event is free and open to the public.

Women’s Christmas Tea

Saturday, Dec. 6 | 11am-1pm | Gathering Space

Our monthly Equipped Movie Nights are an opportunity to gather to watch movies, engage in meaningful conversations focused on aspects of the events and characters portrayed, and fellowship with one another as we enjoy dinner together. Our conversations encourage us to expand our understanding of the world around us by providing different points of view of events and circumstances. The evenings provide an opportunity to help us think about and discuss how our faith can inform our attitudes and better equip us to engage with others in a more meaningful and compassionate way. Register today!

PJs and Prayers

Sunday, Dec. 7 | 6-6:45pm | Parlor

Families with kids in Preschool through 3rd Grade are invited to PJs and Prayers on Sunday, December 7, from 6–6:45pm in the Parlor. Kids should come dressed in their PJs (parents can too!). We’ll enjoy a bedtime snack, share a Bible story, and pray and learn together in fun, interactive ways. You’ll also have the chance to connect with other families. Grown-ups need to stay with their kiddos. If you have kids older or younger than this age range who would still enjoy the event, they’re welcome too. Please register by Monday, December 1, so we can make sure to have all the supplies we need! Register today!

Blue Christmas gives comfort and offers hope for any who are grieving, lonely, or experiencing difficult emotions during the holidays. Whether you are thrilled for Christmas or it is a hard time for you, please join us to come together and worship our creator.
