Jesus gave His all for us, and it brought Him joy. It wasn’t easy, it wasn’t free of suffering, but it was a radical example of what He believes will bring us joy as individuals and as a community. It is going to take all of us stretching, all of us sacrificing, all of us growing in faith in order to realize what God is calling us to, both personally and communally. And that is by design.
Jesus wants us to find something beautiful in the giving away of ourselves.
