Engage (Mission Partners)

A few years ago our Missions Council started down a new road focusing on service in our community, region and the world. The goal of this program is to partner with Christian ministries offering our congregation life-altering service opportunities to every person who  walks through the doors of First Presbyterian Church of Glen Ellyn.

Serving opportunities include ministry to immigrants and underprivileged residents in our community. Partnering with kids in the toughest neighborhood of Chicago and traveling to the Dominican Republic to provide for orphans. Opportunities extend from tutoring to program administration, the creative arts, career mentoring, and construction projects. These ministries provide children the opportunity to transcend the decay of poverty
and grow up with the hope of Christ in their lives.

Throughout the year additional opportunities are offered to our congregation. Get engaged and discover how offering a bit of your time and talent to these ministries will change you forever.
