We believe that worship is the most important and crucial component of what we do as Christians at First Pres. This is why we offer two worship services every weekend for you to gather with other believers in Jesus Christ and respond to the truth found in the Word of God. We believe that in worship we are responding to God’s movement. He has chosen to reach down to earth through his Son, Jesus Christ, and worship is a time to learn of his goodness and be transformed by the Holy Spirit.
Sunday Morning
9:00am Contemporary Worship – Led by our worship band and vocalists, this service is celebratory, energetic, and encourages the congregation to make a joyful noise to our great God. Our desire is to provide a worship setting for you to encounter the unchanging truths and person of Christ in the midst of contemporary culture.
11:15am Traditional Worship - Our traditional service exalts our Lord incorporating the great legacies of our musical heritage: sanctuary choir, handbells, orchestra, pipe organ, and the corporate singing of the great hymns of the faith. This bold and majestic worship expression continues to be a hallmark of our music ministry.
