Worship

We take joy in gathering together to worship the God of the universe. Each worship experience is an opportunity to experience God in a new and unique way.

We are one church that offers two distinct expressions on Sunday morning, as well as evening services at various times during the year. We sing songs written hundreds of years ago and songs written yesterday. Whether you enjoy Classic or Modern worship, all are invited to taste and experience the majesty of God.

Classic Worship

Sundays
8:45-9:45am

Our Classic worship service weaves together inspiring messages with the great legacies of our musical heritage: choirs, pipe organ, orchestra, hand bells, and the corporate singing of the great hymns of the faith.

On any given Sunday you could encounter anything from a Bethel-style band, a multigenerational choir, a high schooler performing spoken word, or even your neighbor playing his mandolin.

Evening Worship

Sometimes, worship on Sunday morning just isn’t enough. Evening worship services provide an additional space to connect with God in the context of gathered community. First Pres enjoys a smattering of gatherings throughout the year with an increased emphasis on worship and reflection.
