Most people have some firmly formed associations with the word “church” – a building, a community, a worship service, an institution. Depending on who you are, you probably have specific associations with the word “worship” as well – music, pews, hymnals, preachers, and choirs perhaps. While none of these associations are wrong, they aren’t able to capture the splendor or intricacy of either concept.
In our summer sermon series we are going to blow the doors off of your concept of worship as we examine what scripture teaches us about the corporate gathering of the Christian community.
