This week, Scout Troop 46 is assisting with worship as part of the “Scout Sunday” tradition. First Pres has sponsored Troop 46 for over 80 years; the troop appreciates the support that the church has provided through the years. Troop 46 has continued to meet during this school year and has adhered to CDC guidelines during the pandemic. In addition to weekly meetings at the church (often under the tent when it was in the NE Parking lot), scouting activities have included cycling, hiking, fishing, skiing, and participation in the Klondike Derby.
This is a Scout-led troop with adult supervision. Boys between 11 and 18 years of age are welcome to join. No prior Scouting experience (i.e. Cub Scouts) is required.
