Sometimes life feels like a struggle. Sometimes life is a struggle. This is not news to God; in fact, in the Old Testament, the Lord God names his people “Israel”- a Hebrew word that means struggles with, or wrestles with God.
In Ephesians chapter 6 the Apostle Paul encourages the church to “be strong in the Lord” by putting on ourselves the full armor of God.
Paul is calling us to contend with the war that is inside each of, us and the battles and struggles that surround us, by making use of the spiritual resources God has given us.
In our day-to-day struggles and battles, the Lord is with us. In this series we will explore how we can understand and deploy the armor of God in our lives to contend with the temptations and forces that are a part of the spiritual battles of our lives. Spend your summer Sundays learning how to be strengthened and fortified by the tools that God has given us.
