When the disciples recognized Jesus after the resurrection, they were filled with joy and awe. The phrase they exclaimed to one another was, “It is the Lord!”
The earliest creed of the church was the simple phrase, “Jesus is Lord.”
As we prepare to celebrate together the trajectory-changing event of Easter, on Sunday mornings we are going to unpack what it means to say that “Jesus is Lord.” We’ll see how this idea impacts our worship, our theology, our prayer lives, and our eternal lives. Come discover the power of the truth that Jesus of Nazareth is Lord of the Cosmos, and wants to be Lord of our lives.
