Scripture affirms that the church is a family – the family of God gathered together through a common faith in Jesus Christ and by the Holy Spirit. With that in mind, we should get to know the extended members of our family of faith better. Over the course of several classes, this series will introduce you to some of the most important thinkers in the history of the church who have shaped Christian belief and practice. In this fourth session, you will be introduced to some of the key theologians from the church during the modern era, including John Wesley, Karl Barth, Dorothy Sayers, James Cone, and Gustavo Gutiérrez. Join us as we get to know some of the great Christian theologians and how they continue to inform our faith today.
