The “Missions Giving 2020” campaign will respond to the immediate needs of our partners as a result of Covid-19, helping them where it’s needed most, “meeting the needs of today and tomorrow.”
The COVID Response Fund will address pressing needs of food, shelter and special services and outreach including but not limited to:

PADS:
Housing the homeless in a quarantine situation and through the loss of employment for many at the margins

Glen Ellyn Food Pantry:
Facing empty shelves after a significant spike in demand for food from families who have never needed the pantry before

Outreach Community/Jubilee Village:
Making ends meet for moms out of work or who need to work; supporting vulnerable kids in struggling families stretched thin [read more]

YMEN:
Filling the gap for young people and families in Chicago whose regular lives and structure have disappeared, and helping them pay utilities and stay on course [read a letter from Mike Trout]

Bridge of Hope:
Serving as a vital net for women and families who are in the vulnerable process of moving from homelessness to self-sufficiency

Partners In Mission:
Responding to great need after a devastating flood destroyed many buildings and livestock at the Kamwenge region of Uganda, putting tremendous loss and strain on the already struggling community [read about the May 1 flood]
