The church in the city of Thessalonica was full of believers who had turned from idols to faith in Israel’s God and in Jesus Christ, God’s Son. The Apostle Paul writes to this community where faith in Christ had come alive in the New Testament books of 1st and 2nd Thessalonians.
During our summer sermon series, we will follow along with the Apostle as he offers comfort, challenge, and Good News to the Christian community in Thessalonica, and to ours as well.
