VBS is June 18-22, 9:30-Noon & Sunday June 24
We’ll be teaching many kids from the community about prayer. Using the prayer that Jesus taught all of us to pray, we’ll be learning and praying alongside the children. This is what we will be learning:
• Parent – God is our father and a parent to us
• Remember – what God wants; his will and his kingdom
• Ask – for what you need; daily bread and forgiveness
• Yes – say ‘yes’ to the Jesus way; ‘yes’ to Jesus, ‘no’ to temptation, ‘yes’ to his kingdom
These simple lessons are surrounded by amazing activities, lots of fun music, art projects and most importantly, the teaching comes from fantastic volunteers. 100 times thank you to all the volunteers and to the church community for your prayers. Together we are making sure that each child coming to VBS is prayed for by a prayer partner in the church! Please pray for a wonderful week of fun and excitement, safety and joy, and for each of these children to come close to Jesus and learn the skill of praying from their hearts.
