LET US PRAY: A CONGREGATIONAL EXPERILENT

By March 7, 2018No Comments

The great German pastor and theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer wrote,
“It is in fact the most normal thing in the common Christian life to
pray together.” Some of us can relate to this statement; when we
come together with other Christians to share our lives, it is natural for us to invite God into
the conversation, to seek God’s best for one another and to pray for the world.
For other Christians, praying with others is uncomfortable, intimidating and foreign.
In this series we will tackle the importance of praying together and see the transformation
that shared prayer can bring to our lives, our faith and our circumstances. As a part of the
sermon series you are invited to find a prayer partner and pray together between now and
Easter. You will find lots of resources, more detailed information and assistance on the First
Pres website at: www.firstpresge.org/let-us-pray/
