On Sunday, October 23 & 30 join us in the Parlor from 10-10:45am for a discussion of the New York Times’ Bestselling Book Refugee. This action-packed novel, written by acclaimed author Alan Gratz, tackles topics both timely and timeless: courage, survival, and the quest for home. Readers will join three refugee children on their harrowing journeys in search of refuge. These young people face unimaginable dangers – from drownings to bombings and betrayals. Even so, there is always hope of tomorrow. And though the three children are separated by continents and decades, shocking connections will tie their stories together in the end. In our conversation of these refugees’ stories, we will discuss our call as Christians in responding to people all around us, both near and far, who are in need.
Copies of Refugee can be purchased from your favorite independent bookstore or wherever you shop online.
