Hired three interns, Jennifer Guo & Will Osterholm in Children’s Ministry and Emma Ware in Worship Ministries. Matt Sturm also started as AV team leader.

Welcomed 330 children to Vacation Bible School. 110 volunteers supported and led these kids through great adventures!

Offered two Easter services with a total of 996 people attending worship, both in-person and online.

Welcomed 19 new members to the congregation on May 21, 2023. 14 confirmation students professed their faith in Jesus Christ and joined as members on April 30, 2023.

Kari began an internship at First Pres seeking to gain ministry experience at a church. She left with a sense of spiritual discernment and church community. Numerous mentors supported her learning and offered opportunities to stretch and try new things. “I grew so much here because I was given opportunities to stretch in uncomfortable and comfortable ways.” Currently enrolled at Princeton Seminary, Kari continues to maintain a strong connection with First Pres through worship and spiritual partnership.
