HERE IS A LIST OF NATIONAL MISSIONS WE SUPPORT:
Dakota Partnership –
The partnership is a consortium of 22 churches in the Dakota Presbytery (MT, SD, ND, MN) and 4 churches in Chicago Presbytery: Knox Presbyterian (Naperville); Pullman Presbyterian (Chicago); First Presbyterian (Arlington Heights); First Presbyterian (Glen Ellyn). Their purpose is to advance the spread of the Gospel. The partnership serves to provide funding for pastors in Dakota Presbytery as well as to off-set other expenses. Red Eagle and Makaicu Presbyterian Churches/Montana Family Mission Trip – First Pres members take an annual summer trip to the Fort Peck Reservation. Work includes Vacation Bible School and Church Facility Construction.
Covenant Pathways, Gallup, New Mexico – A ministry of cross-cultural healing, restoration, and training, led by James and Joyce Skeet, which seeks to revitalize ministry with Native American peoples. Covenant Pathways has also helped local Navajo women to sustain rug-weaving and other micro-businesses. As they gather with the women to assist them in their business, they also seek opportunities to help them grow in the Christian faith in various ways including conducting a Bible Study.
