The cornerstone of our Junior High ministry at First Pres is Wednesday night youth group called TNT. Each week dozens of area junior highers gather for a meal, games, Bible teaching and small group discussion. TNT is designed to connect students with God, the church, leaders who care for them and other fantastic junior highers. We start the night off with dinner, for a time to chat with other students and leaders about school, friends and life in general. Then we have fun with games and activities in the gym before we move to the Youth Lounge where we’ll spend our evenings learning what the Bible teaches about important and relevant topics like: friendship, worship, community, trusting God and the stories of Jesus. After this teaching time we split into small groups to discuss that night’s topic and how it affects our lives.
TNT also has several events throughout the school-year, like our Talent Show, Costume Party and even a trip to Xtreme Trampoline. We can’t wait to see you there.

SUNDAY MORNINGS
Contemporary Worship Service – 9:00am – We believe that worship is the most powerful and influential use of our time throughout the week. We encourage you and your parents to go to worship together, or come sit with Jos, the interns and other youth up in the balcony, we’d love to see you!
Traditional Worship Service- 11:15am
Sunday School 10:15am – 11:00am – 6-7th graders meet in room31, 8th graders meet in room 29. Walk through the New Testament, paying special attention to the awesome people who lived out these amazing stories, and how they all fit into the story of God.
Confirmation
Eighth grade begins the Confirmation Process. Stage 1: Know the Faith is an interactive classroom experience where we’ll dig deep into the 10 Commandments, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Apostles’ Creed. (“Stage 2: Practice the Faith” and “Stage 3: Commit to the Faith” will follow for those student interested in confirmation.)
