Every Summer our church enjoys the privilege of reaching out to the entire community by hosting an annual journey back in time to learn about the power of the Biblical Story and how it effects our lives today. From walking in Egypt with Joseph, to playing in Nazareth where Jesus was a boy, we turn our facility into another land, dress in costume, join a Tribe of Israel, and take a journey.
Songs, stories, crafts, games are just part of what happens at VBS. Relationships are built with other kids and adults and most importantly, we all learn more about the God who loves us and saves us.
COURAGE IN BABYLON
Vacation Bible School Daniel’s courage while captive in Babylon, June 18-22, 9:30-noon
Daniel was way more than a guy who survived a den of hungry lions! During VBS we will learn that he was torn from his home and forced into the king’s service. We will imagine the pressure of learning a new language and culture…and the shock of discovering your best friends have been tossed into a fiery furnace. Kids will find that they’re not much different from Daniel and his friends, who kept their faith in a faithless culture. Registration forms available in the Gathering Place and on the links below.
