I’m New

If you haven’t been to church in a while…

come see if First Pres is a place where you can experience God’s love.

If you’ve never been to church…

come see what the Spirit might awaken within you.

If you are looking for a new church family…

Come, let us introduce ourselves as your sisters and brothers in Christ.

Everyone is welcome in God’s house. We welcome people of all ages, races, and whatever your place in life.  First Pres is located on the corner of Main Street and Cottage Avenue, just north of downtown Glen Ellyn at 550 N. Main.  There are parking spaces in our west lot reserved for visitors.  Our church campus is disability accessible.  There is no dress code.  We hope our website can answer other questions to help make your first visit with us more comfortable.  If there is anything we can do to help you, please let us know (630-469-2007).

Sunday is the high point of our week. We gather together to worship God at 9:00am (contemporary style) and at 11:15am (traditional). We learn together in smaller settings; (education and fellowship at 10:15am). Sunday is our day of Sabbath, where we remember that we were not born into the world for work alone, but like our Maker, to rest and feast upon the splendor of creation. From this day we carry our worship into the other six days of the week.

Welcome to First Presbyterian Church of Glen Ellyn. We’ve been expecting you.

Sunday Morning

9:00am Contemporary Worship - Led by our worship band and vocalists, this service is celebratory, energetic, and encourages the congregation to make a joyful noise to our great God. Our desire is to provide a worship setting for you to encounter the unchanging truths and person of Christ in the midst of contemporary culture.

11:15am Traditional Worship - Our traditional service exalts our Lord incorporating the great legacies of our musical heritage: sanctuary choir, handbells, orchestra, pipe organ, and the corporate singing of the great hymns of the faith. This bold and majestic worship expression continues to be a hallmark of our music ministry.
