You can expect a friendly, welcoming environment. Our mission is simple: to lead people to love God and love people.
First Pres is located at 550 N. Main St., Glen Ellyn. It is on the corner of Main Street and Cottage Avenue, just north of downtown Glen Ellyn. Parking spaces in our west lot are reserved for visitors, and parking spaces in the east lot are reserved for seniors and those with disabilities. Our church campus is disability accessible. There is a public parking lot, as well as street parking available.
Children are invited to attend kids’ worship experiences which take place during the 9am and 10:30am services in classrooms throughout the church. Nursery is available for 0-2 year olds. Children may also choose to worship with their parents. (Worship bags with activities for children are provided at the Sanctuary entrance.) Students 6th grade and up are invited to attend worship with their parents. Please ask a greeter if you have any questions.
We have an information center kiosk where our volunteers will guide you to the right place and love to answer any of your questions.
People attend our services dressed as they feel comfortable. Dress as you would like, and join us!
Feel free to bring your own coffee into our sanctuary or join us for coffee and treats between services.
Our worship services include powerful worship music and a practical message. We offer a Classic service at 9am and a Modern worship service at 10:30am. Our desire is to help you connect with God and connect with others.
We have fellowship in the Gathering Place in between services. Stop by our information center kiosk in the Gathering Place to pick up a gift that's waiting for you and to learn more about First Pres.
We would love for you to attend our New Member Class. We believe membership to be more than a formality. This is an opportunity for you to commit to being in an invested and intentional relationship where others can pour into your life and where you can encourage those around you as we grow together in Christ. We seek to uphold and challenge each other in our walk with Christ. Making a decision to call First Presbyterian your home is a great way for us to begin that process together.
