Wednesday Morning Women’s Bible Study

Meets on Wednesdays, at 6:30 a.m. in the Parlor. The Wednesday Morning Women’s Bible Study will begin a study of Colossians by listening to the 4 chapters of the book on audio tape. This gives us a good overview of what this epistle is all about, and then we’ll begin our study of Colossians chapter 1 on that day.

Our study is an informal self-lead discussion using Biblical commentaries of our individual choice. There are even commentaries available on-line these days! It’s always interesting to see what the different versions of the Bible say and also how the commentators may differ in their interpretations of Scriptural passages. Though we take our study seriously, we also greatly enjoy our time of fellowship, laughter, sharing, and prayer in a comfortable, relaxed setting. We were blessed with four new members this fall as we entered our study of Ephesians, and it seems the “reviews” are good – they keep coming back! They have quickly become part of us and seem to think this is worth getting up very early on Wednesday mornings. We would love to welcome additional new members as we begin this study of Colossians. Contact Marty Dome 630-858-7365 or Barb Gosselar 630-370-1467 for further information if needed.

Wednesday Bible Study meets for the primary purpose of engaging in an in-depth study of the Bible using commentaries of own individual choice. This group uses a self-lead discussion format and they also enjoy fellowship, laughter, sharing and prayer in an informal atmosphere. The study is the book of Ephesians. The group meets at 6:30am in the Parlor. Contact person: Barb Gosselar or Marty Dome

Wednesday Evening Bible Study meets in the home of Marj Yuhas on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month, 7:00 – 8:30pm.  Their program centers around a Woman’s Life Study series.  Contact Marj Yuhas.
