sermon series | Grace Revealed: A Big Picture Look at the Storyline of the Bible
We’ve been reading the One Year Bible together this past year. As Christians, we study and unpack the Bible by book, story, chapter and verse. If you’ve been reading with us, we hope each story and chapter has spoken to you, and that you’ve found it full of meaning. We hope it has revealed God at work in your life.
As we approach the end, we will be considering the big picture—what does it all mean when taken as a whole? The Bible is both diverse and full of unity. Understanding the big picture is a sweeping task. As we consider the full work though, predominant themes emerge that help us understand God—his grace, power, justice, and ultimately his great love for us. This Christmas season we’ll be looking at these big picture ideas, what they mean for our lives, and how they help us to know and understand the gift of Jesus Christ. If you have ever wondered about the integration and cohesion of the Bible and what it means for your life, you won’t want to miss this series.
